Creative Wellness for Chronic Illness
In our virtual art studio, you'll learn how to rebuild creativity, confidence, and calm through accessible creative wellness programs designed for women living with chronic illness, burnout, stress, and fluctuating capacity.

Your energy drops. Your brain feels different. Plans shrink. Confidence wobbles. You cancel more than you show up. You look at old photos and feel that sharp mix of nostalgia and grief.
Not the version that could push through. Not the version with endless stamina and clear plans. This version... the one navigating uncertainty, overwhelm, fluctuating capacity, and a life that looks different from what you imagined.

When your identity shifts, your body is tired, and your mind is going in a million different directions, you need a safe place to explore without the pressure to perform or prove anything. An Inner Peace Creative Practice gives you that space.
Not as a cure. Not as toxic positivity. But as steady support for your nervous system and your confidence.
When you paint, you decide the color. You decide when you're done. When you write, you give grief somewhere to land instead of letting it swirl. Art isn't a cure all but living with a creative practice is proven to increase health and wellbeing, especially for those with intense stress, pain, and nervous system dysregulation.
That's what we teach here: how to build a practice that works with fluctuating capacity. From bed, from the couch, from your kitchen table. In five-minute increments. With simple supplies. Exactly as you are.

Hi, I'm Katie. In 2022, my health shifted dramatically. I had to leave my role as a marketing agency executive leading a team of 60 people. My brain fog was intense. My energy dropped. My identity felt unstable.
Art became the one place I could experiment safely. I didn't paint to be impressive. I painted to regulate. I wrote to process grief. I explored sound because my nervous system needed something steady.
That personal practice grew into formal training in healing art facilitation, mindful art instruction, and Arts in Medicine. Women began asking to join me. Inner Peace Art Studio grew from that lived experience.
This space isn't about pretending illness doesn't exist. It's about building something meaningful alongside it.

Yes. Most women who join haven't created since childhood. This is about process, not performance. You'll be guided step-by-step, with modifications for different skill levels and energy.
It's expected. Every program is designed with fluctuating capacity in mind. Replays are available, modifications are offered, and low-energy options are built into everything we do.
You can participate fully from home, even from bed. Many women create from their couch, a small tray table, or a simple art kit they keep nearby. This was designed for exactly that. If you need a few ideas on how to get started, the Healing Art Starter Kit is a great place to start.
No. Most practices use basic watercolors, pens, crayons, or materials you already have. We teach you how to build a simple, realistic setup that works for your space and energy.
No. This is creative wellness following arts in health research, evidence, theories, and principles as well as healing and mindful art facilitation. While many women find it deeply supportive, it is not a replacement for medical or mental health care.
You won't be behind. There is no "catching up" here. Every piece of this studio is designed to meet you where you are — on good days and hard ones.
Absolutely. Many women move from personal healing into sharing their work. When that feels aligned, Start Your Art Biz, Tackle Your Tech, and the Art Biz Collective give you structure to build sustainably.
Start small. The Healing Art Starter Kit or a Creative Wellness Workshop are gentle entry points. You don't need to commit to a full program right away. One small step is enough.
